From February the 1st to the 8th of June the Estense Castle of Ferrara celebrates one of the most important masters of twentieth century photography, Art Kane (New York, 1925-1995)
On the centenary of his birth and thirty years after his death, opens the splendid exhibition entitled

His work was published in famous magazines and profoundly influenced the photographers of subsequent generations who appreciated his free visionary and innovative ( for example the use of color).

The exhibition traces Kane's entire creative parable through over 100 works arranged into sections that delve into all aspects of his multifaceted production "beyond photography".
The genres of portrait and nude, fashion and advertising, from participation in the world of rock, jazz and pop music to refelctionon socail and politicalthemes have inflamed the civil conscience of the United States in the sixties and seventies up to experiments.
